How to round the corners of an image

  1. Drop in your images or paste a screenshot.
  2. Set the Corner radius. Small values give a soft curve and 100% turns a square into a circle.
  3. Choose PNG or WebP and download, or save the whole set as a zip.

Where rounded corners help

  • Slides and documents. Rounded photos look softer and sit more naturally next to rounded shapes and text boxes.
  • Profile cards and team pages. A small radius gives a tidy, consistent look across a set of headshots.
  • UI mockups and screenshots. Rounding a screenshot makes it look like a window or card in a blog post or help article.
  • App-icon style images. Good for mockups and marketing. Many app stores and platforms add the rounding themselves, so check their guidelines before uploading a pre-rounded icon.

For a perfect circle on a photo that isn’t square, use circle crop instead, which cuts out the centre square first.

PNG or WebP?

PNG works everywhere, including older software and most document editors. WebP files are usually much smaller and are supported by all current browsers.

One thing catches people out: a photo that started as a JPG can grow a lot when saved as PNG, because PNG stores every pixel without lossy compression. For photos headed to a website, WebP keeps the transparent corners at a far smaller size. For screenshots, logos and graphics, PNG is usually the better fit.
