When to use virtual dice
A dice roller helps when the real ones are lost, when you’re playing online over a video call, or when a roll needs a lot of dice at once. A big fireball in a role-playing game can call for 8d6, and adding up eight dice by hand is slow. Here the total is ready straight away.
