How to get a yes or no answer
- Think of a question that can be answered with yes or no.
- An answer is ready when the page opens. Ask your question, then click Ask again or press Space to get yours. The count under the answer shows how many of each you’ve had.
- Tick Include Maybe if you want three possible answers.
When a random answer helps
A yes or no generator is for small choices where either outcome is fine: order dessert, go for a run, watch one more episode. It saves you going back and forth. Keep it away from decisions about health, money or other people, where the reasons matter more than the result.
It also works as a gut check. Ask, look at the answer, and notice how you feel. Relief or disappointment tells you which way you were already leaning.
Other ways to decide
- Coin flip: the same odds with heads and tails. The coin flip can also flip thousands of times and count the results.
- Yes or no wheel: type Yes and No into the wheel spinner for a spinning version that’s more fun to watch with a group. Add Maybe as a third entry if you like.
- More than two options: list them all on the wheel, or number them and use the random number generator.
