How to convert OGG to MP3
- Drop your OGG files into the box or choose them. You can convert several at once.
- MP3 is already selected. Each file is encoded at 192 kbps on your device.
- Download each MP3, or all of them together as a zip.
What’s inside an OGG file
OGG is the box, not the sound. Inside is usually Vorbis, an older open codec common in games and music, or Opus, a newer one used for voice messages and streaming. You don’t need to know which: both are decoded and saved as MP3 here. Files that end in .opus are the same idea and convert on the Opus to MP3 page.
Tips
- Drop a whole folder of sound effects or recordings at once and download them as a zip.
- Tags such as title and artist are copied to the MP3 when the OGG file has them.
- If you’ll edit the audio in a program that wants uncompressed files, choose WAV instead of MP3 above.
