How to convert JFIF to JPG
- Drop your JFIF files into the box or choose them. You can convert many at once.
- JPG is already selected. Set the quality, or leave it at 90.
- Download each JPG, or all of them together as a zip.
What JFIF is
JFIF is the original file layout for JPEG images, and most .jpg files use it inside. The .jfif ending is just another name for the same thing. The trouble is that many upload forms, social sites and older apps look at the ending and refuse anything that isn’t .jpg or .jpeg, even though the picture would open fine.
Rename or convert
For one or two files, renaming is quickest. Turn on file name extensions in the View menu of File Explorer, then change .jfif to .jpg. For a folder full of saved images, drop them all here and download the JPGs as one zip.
If you need a lossless copy for editing instead, use JFIF to PNG.
