How to convert AVIF to JPG
- Drop your AVIF files into the box or choose them. You can convert many at once.
- JPG is already selected. Set the quality, or leave it at 90.
- Download each JPG, or all of them together as a zip.
Where AVIF files come from
Many websites serve their images as AVIF because the files are small and load quickly. When you save one of those images, you get an .avif file, and that’s where the trouble starts: Office documents, older photo editors, printing services and many upload forms won’t take it. JPG works in all of them.
Getting good results
Quality 90 keeps photos looking like the original. Go lower if you need smaller files, and check the preview to see when you start to notice a difference. For logos, stickers and images with a transparent background, use AVIF to PNG, which keeps the transparency and every pixel.
