How to split a PDF
- Drop your PDF into the box. Every page appears as a thumbnail.
- Choose how to split it: every page as its own file, only the pages you click, or ranges such as 1-3, 4-6.
- Click Split PDF. Several files download together as a zip.
Picking pages quickly
Click a page to select it and click again to unselect. Hold Shift and click another page to select everything in between, which is the fastest way to grab a long run like pages 10 to 40. Use Select all and Select none to start over.
Split or extract?
Splitting cuts one PDF into several smaller files, for example one per chapter or one per invoice in a batch. Extracting saves a chosen set of pages as a new file and leaves out the rest, which is what you want for sending just the signature page or one section of a report.
