How to write in cursive
- Type your name or a short line into Input.
- The script version appears in Result as you type.
- Copy it into your bio, display name or caption, then check it on your phone, since fonts differ between devices.
Keep it short
Script letters are decorative, and they get hard to read fast. Capitals are the worst: โLOVEโ becomes โ๐ช๐ฑโฐ, where each letter has its own loops and flourishes. Use cursive for a name, a sign-off or a few words, and write the rest of your bio in plain text so people can read it and search can find it.
Where cursive text gets used
- Names in bios, especially for photographers, makeup artists, bakers and other small businesses with a personal brand.
- Wedding and event posts: a coupleโs names or a date line in a caption.
- Quotes in captions, where the script sets them apart from your own words.
- Display names on Discord, TikTok and similar apps that accept Unicode in names.
