Does it work on a phone or tablet?
Yes. Tap the game or the box below it to bring up the keyboard and type as normal. Autocorrect is turned off for the box, so it won't change your words.
How is the score worked out?
Each word scores 10 points per letter, times the current level. A six-letter word is worth 60 points at level 1 and 180 at level 3, so long words late in the game count the most.
Which word does my typing go to when several start the same way?
The lowest one, closest to the ground, as that's the one most likely to cost a life. New words rarely share a first letter with words already falling, which keeps it clear.
How is this different from a typing test?
A typing test measures your words per minute on a fixed text. This game trains quick recognition and accuracy under pressure. To measure your speed, use the typing test.
