How to view HTML code
- Paste HTML into the HTML box, drop an .html file on it, or press Open file. The preview updates as you type.
- Choose Full, Tablet or Phone to see the page at that width.
- Tick Run scripts if the page needs JavaScript to work. Leave it off for HTML you don't trust.
Checking HTML from emails and exports
Many tools hand you raw HTML: an email template, an exported report, a web page saved from a browser, or the HTML source a CMS produces. Pasting it here shows what it looks like without saving a file and opening it in a browser. Switch to Phone to see whether an email or a page holds up at 390 pixels wide, the size of many phones.
Viewing versus formatting
The viewer shows the rendered page. If the code itself is hard to read because it’s minified onto one line, run it through the HTML formatter first, then paste the tidy version here to edit it. To pull only the readable words out of a page, use HTML to text.
