How to use the full screen clock
- Choose 24 hour or 12 hour time, and tick Seconds and Date on or off.
- Pick the colours: match the site’s theme, or a fixed Dark face for night or Light face for daytime.
- Press Full screen, the F key, or double-click the clock. Press Esc to leave full screen.
A clock that fills the screen
The digits scale with the width of the screen, so the clock is as large as it can be on a phone, a laptop or a TV. Without seconds the time gets bigger still. The clock updates just after each second ticks over, so it never lags behind your device’s time.
Dark and Light use fixed colours like a bedside clock, whatever the theme of the rest of the site. Match site follows the site’s light or dark theme.
Ideas for using it
- Presentations and classrooms: a clock everyone can read from the back of the room.
- Night clock: dark face, low brightness, phone on charge.
- Second screen: keep the time in view while you work.
- Live streams and events: a clean clock to show on camera.
