Can I use this as an online whiteboard?
Yes. Pick the grid, lined or dotted background for notes and diagrams, or the chalkboard. Press Full screen to share it in a video call. It’s a board for one person: other people can’t draw on it with you.
How do I add text?
Pick the T tool (or press T) and click where the text should start, then type. Enter starts a new line. Click anywhere else or press Ctrl+Enter to place it, or Esc to drop it. The text takes the current color, and the Size slider sets how big it is, so labels on a diagram or a screenshot are quick to add.
Is my drawing saved?
The latest drawing is kept in this browser, so it’s still there if you close the tab or reload. Very detailed drawings can be too big to keep, so download the ones that matter. Nothing is uploaded.
Does it work with a stylus or on a tablet?
Yes. Draw with a finger or a stylus on a phone or tablet. With a pressure-sensitive pen, such as an Apple Pencil or a Surface pen, the pen tool gets thicker the harder you press.
How do I draw on a photo or screenshot?
Press Open an image, or paste or drag a picture onto the board. It’s placed in the middle and you can draw over it. The eraser removes the picture too, so use undo if you erase too much.
Can I save with a transparent background?
Yes. Choose Transparent as the background before you download, and the PNG keeps only what you drew.
