How to look up a port
Type a port number (443), a service (ssh) or a word like database.
Use the buttons to show only well-known or registered ports.
Click a port number to copy it.
Port ranges
0–1023, well-known: standard services, assigned by IANA.
1024–49151, registered: assigned to specific applications on request, such as 3306 for MySQL.
49152–65535, dynamic: used briefly by your own device for outgoing connections.
Encrypted versions
Many services have a separate encrypted port: 443 for HTTPS instead of 80, 993 for IMAPS instead of 143, 995 for POP3S instead of 110, 636 for LDAPS instead of 389. Others, such as email submission on 587, upgrade the same connection with STARTTLS.
