Which words stay lowercase in Title Case?
Short articles, conjunctions and prepositions such as “a”, “and”, “of”, “the” and “to” stay lowercase unless they are the first or last word, or come right after a colon or the end of a sentence. This follows the common rules used by most style guides.
Does it keep acronyms like NASA or HTML?
Yes. In Title Case and Sentence case, words written in capitals (NASA, HTML) and brand spellings with a capital inside (iPhone, eBay, McDonald’s) are left as they are. A sentence typed with Caps Lock on, where most letters are capitals, is treated as ordinary text and converted, while acronyms in your other sentences stay.
What is the difference between camelCase, snake_case and kebab-case?
They are ways to join words without spaces, mostly used in programming. camelCase capitalises each word after the first (userName), snake_case joins lowercase words with underscores (user_name), and kebab-case joins them with hyphens (user-name), which is common in URLs and CSS.
What are aLtErNaTiNg and iNVERSE?
Alternating case switches between small and capital letters (the “mocking” style used in memes). Inverse swaps the case of every letter, which also fixes text typed with Caps Lock on by accident: “hELLO” becomes “Hello”.
Is my text sent anywhere?
