How fast factorials grow
Factorials grow faster than any power. 20! already passes 2 quintillion, 52! (the number of ways to shuffle a deck of cards) has 68 digits, and 1000! has 2,568. Ordinary calculators give up at 170!, the largest that fits in a standard double; this one keeps every digit.
