How to play bubble shooter
- Move the mouse to aim, or drag your finger on a phone; the dotted line shows where the bubble will go, including a bounce off the side wall. Click, or lift your finger, to fire.
- When the bubble you fire touches three or more of its own color, they pop. Any bubbles left hanging with nothing above them drop too, for extra points.
- Every five shots that don’t pop anything bring a new row down from the top. Clear the board to reach the next level; if the bubbles reach the dashed line, the game ends.
Tips for a higher score
Popping a few bubbles that hold up a big cluster brings the whole cluster down, and dropped bubbles score twice as much as popped ones, so look for the narrow joints that hold up a lot of bubbles. A shot banked off the side wall can reach gaps behind other bubbles; the aim line shows the bounce, so line it up before you fire.
If the bubble in the shooter has nowhere good to go, swap it for the next one instead of wasting a shot. Each shot that doesn’t pop brings the next row closer, so when you do have a spare shot, use it to set up a later pop rather than throwing it anywhere.
